Indexable archive, a Tips guide, and a rhyme-hint change
Every past puzzle in the Archive now has an expandable panel with that day’s similarity clues and a spoiler-free synopsis. The answer still requires playing the puzzle.
New Tips & How Scoring Works guide explaining the similarity score, the clue chips, and strategy for new players.
The “rhymes with…” hint is now always the last hint you can reveal (3rd for guests, 4th for registered accounts, 5th for Premium), so the earlier hints stay useful.
The Archive is now paginated and loads faster.
Privacy, Contact, and a site footer
Added Privacy Policy and Contact pages and a footer with quick links to every section.
Expanded the About page with a fuller explanation of how the game works.
Discover Mode improvements
Added an actor filter to the Discover Mode picker and fixed the genre filter.
Discover Mode now shows the movie poster and description when you win.
Puzzle timing and eligibility
The daily puzzle now rolls over at 6 PM CT, with a countdown to the next puzzle after you win.
Tightened Easy and Hard eligibility: year and popularity thresholds, and concert films / making-of features are excluded.
Faster guessing
Removed the Guess button — submit with Enter or by clicking a title in the dropdown.
Widened the input on mobile and moved the dice / action buttons below it.
Bulletproofed the hint chains so hints 4 and 5 never repeat each other.
New hint system and Easy-mode plot summary
Revamped hints into a five-step ladder that goes from broad to specific.
Added expandable guess cards showing the full similarity breakdown.
Easy mode now shows a few vague theme words above the input.
Movie Trivia and Discover Mode
Launched the Movie Trivia page with 500+ Hollywood facts.
Added the Discover Mode picker (choose a genre, decade, and difficulty) and a random-guess dice button.
